swallow this

These are the prenatal vitamins that I have to take every day. Why, oh why, must they be so huge? They can put a mountain of information into a tiny microchip, but they can't make a vitamin that isn't gigantic? Come on people—give us women a break. Personally, I think they are doing it so when we have to swallow our pride in the delivery room it won't be so difficult.

I've included the ruler with metric measurements for our friends who don't use inches or nickels. See how thoughtful I am?

Hey congrats! I just started reading your new baby site - love it! It was so nice when Tim did ours for Kenslee, we like to look back on it and remember life before child. oh the good ol' days, LOL. definitely keep taking pics every few weeks, you will be amazed at how fast you will grow!!

And I agree about the pills.. they are hard to swallon, especially if you are nautious at all. I still take them and I gag on every one.

That's not so bad. It's only 25 mm! I mean, I eat nickels every day. I usually have a bowl of nickels and strawberries with milk. They's a good.

Yep, those prenates suck. Although, you can always take Flintstone's chewables if you want. Both of the doctors I had said they were ok as a replacement. Weird, but true!

Those are huge! I hate swallowing pills. At least those appear to be coated, that helps a bit.

Mindless Dribbler—They're kind of squishy so I'm not sure it's powder inside.

Fuzzy—Sure, they're pretty but they smell disgusting.

Kym—Thanks. I loved the idea of a seperate baby blog to keep my regular blog from becoming all about the pregnancy.

Chuck—Yep.

TF—But they are bigger than a nickel. Can't you see that? I didn't have a quarter handy for comparison.

QoP—Flinstones huh? I loved those when I was a kid. Before I got pregnant I took the Centrum (adult) chewables because they tasted good. I may have to talk to my OB about that.

Nobody—They are coated and it does make them much easier to swallow. It doesn't make me like them anymore though.

I hated taking them. At least yours has a coating - which helps sorta! Is the morning sickness getting better?

I go away, come back and you're preggers?

Fan-bloddy-tastic! As a happy father I am always pleased to hear happy parents to be.

As for the pill? I'm sure the wife had smaller ones than that. Keep looking.

Holy Horse Pill Batman!!

And I thought my giant blue allergy pills were bad...they are about half the size of that one. Good luck!

I had a hard time with the pills. I was also constipated from the iron, which they made me take on a daily basis. I think I switched to a smaller pill and an iron that didn't stop you up. TMI? Oh well, it is time to learn all about this stuff, right??

Good grief! I took OTC prenates after the 3 different samples my ob gave me all made me sick. They were a lot smaller too. Worse than the smell is the taste when you burp up mineral/hay bale flavors all day long.
