Man are you all ever impatient. That, coupled with the fact that somebody, may or may not have guessed it, I will let you know the big news sooner than later.

I'm PREGNANT!
We are super excited and no, it wasn't a total accident. I didn't go into the whole "I'm ovulating, let's go, let's go." But...we were sorta, kinda, didn't mind either way trying. So, ya, that's it. The big news. Eight weeks along. I created the new blog to keep the old one from becoming a "mommy blog", so no worries, I'm not jumping the shark over there. For any of you that are remotely interested I'll keep you posted on the ever changing wee one here—and would love any advice/support/whatever you have to offer.

Funny about that spam with "full frontal nudes"...maybe someone saw the "wee one" title and figured it was a great place for people with undoubtedly tiny "members." I don't know. Why can't the spammers just leave us all alone?

I remember my first child, my wife and I read "What to Expect While You're Expecting" every Sunday night before we went to bed. Great book, except for the drawings they have of what your fetus looks like each week of the pregnancy. I was convinced we were having a platypus until about 20 weeks.
