growing up—14 & 15 weeks

14 weeks.

This has been a busy couple of weeks for you. Since my last post you've:
  • Rolled over onto your stomach (6.27.o7).
  • And then onto your back (7.6.07)
  • Discovered your tongue and now stick it out all the time.
  • Started mouthing everything that you get into your hands.
  • Figured out how to make some new noises—little squeaks & squeals.
  • Made friends with a little stuffed dog blanket thing—Buddy (Budward T. Nobody if you're being formal).
  • Celebrated your first Fourth of July (and thankfully slept through most of the fireworks that they shoot off in the park next door).
  • Got a new Bumbo chair and sit upright all by yourself in it.
  • Upped the drool ratio.
  • Discovered just how cool the mobile above your crib is and will flail your legs around and squeal with delight when it's actually spinning.
  • Started cereal (7.9.07). Rice cereal—that actually doesn't taste bad. Which both excites me and breaks my heart. Our baby is starting solids.
15 weeks.

And wow, solid foods?? Time is flying.

I love that kid's smile. Adorable.

I know. It doesn't seem possible that he could be into cereal already. Cherish every moment because they fly by at a seemingly accelerated rate.

Awwww! He is so cute! Look at that smile. He is probably smiling and thinking, "Ever week, Mom and Dad need to get my picture with this monkey!"

Remember when he was smaller than the monkey?

I can't get over how adorable he is! And growing so fast! Is he doing the tummy wiggle yet (when he gets on his tummy and wiggles back and forth like he is going to crawl, wants to crawl, but doesn't know how yet) I love that!
